"Does Hammered Pear offer Women-Only Classes?"
Our classes are specifically designed with female shooters as the highest priority. While we understand that it may be intimidating to train in a male-dominated class, it's important to note that statistically, a violent encounter is likely going to involve a male perpetrator regardless of gender, so we hold all our students to the same standard, together.
Bad Guys don't care what's between your legs- neither should you.
"What's the return Policy on Classes?"
Hammered Pear currently does not offer refunds for students who miss training. Signing up for a class is a commitment to train, and we train rain or shine.
"What's the Minimum Age to Train?"
All students under 18 Y/O must be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian. We encourage families to train together- families that train together, survive together. It is up to the parent to determine each individual child's maturity level- as a general rule of thumb, 13-14 years old is a good baseline. If they can't take care of the family dog when the parents are away, they are unlikely to bear the responsibility of safe, effective gun handling.
"Where are the Training Locations?"
Hammered Pear classes take place in two locations: Aragon, GA and Suches, GA, both on Private Property.
To protect the Privacy of the Owners, all students will receive the addresses to their range via email prior to the date of the class. Both ranges are outdoors, have restrooms and basic utilities.
Each Class will have the Training Area posted in the Title - choose carefully based on your region!
Does Hammered Pear Offer Private Classes?
Absolutely! We understand that some students are less comfortable shooting on a line with other students. We offer private training on a case-by-case basis; our current rates are $75/HR for a minimum of 4 hours, per person (in the case of small private parties). We can also come to YOU, if you've got an adequate, safe place to shoot.
